Assassination Attempt on President Trump | Quebec Woman in Custody.
Letters were reportedly sent out to several places that contained a deadly substance called ricin. Ricin comes from a plant that grows castor beans in which the deadly substance can be extracted from. The letters were sent to multiple locations including a Texas police department and the President of the United States. Fortunately, the letters were intercepted before reaching their targeted locations.
Suspect, Pascale Ferrier, was arrested at the New York - Ontario border as she tried to cross over into the United States. It is believed that she has connections to the location the letters were sent out of. Ferrier also served time in Texas where she allegedly sent one of the letters.
Quebec RCMP stated on twitter yesterday, September 21st:
"Our Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives team (CBRNE) is leading the operation. Police and fire teams from Longueuil are also on site. All necessary measures have been taken to ensure public safety."
This is an ongoing investigation and none of these charges have been proven as of yet. American News Insider will update the story as more details become available.
